Storytelling

"Barry has been visiting my 5th grade classroom for years to do storytelling sessions. My students have been captivated from the moment he arrives at the room. His performances are energetic and fun. The kids are enthralled from start to finish. He also talks to them about the art of good storytelling, how to get started and encourages them to write their own stories. At the end of the school year, I always ask my class to name their favorite thing we did all year - at least half will write, "When Barry came to our room for storytelling." I will continue to use Barry as a resource for as long as he is willing to visit my classroom."

Teambuilding

"It was a great experience. It was something new to try every time we did a new activity. We learned to cooperate with each other (even if we never wanted to in the first place, it just ended up that way) and still had a BLAST!!
