Children In CrisisArmed with statistics, personal experiences and counseling cases, learn about the problems that are facing children in America. This program places a special emphasis on child abuse and neglect trends, at-risk behavior, methods of intervention and potential outcomes.
Christian IllusionsThis evangelical program is for children of all ages. From simple tricks to large illusions, we will take your church or youth group on a tour through a world of wonder. Many of the illusions can be used to explain Christian concepts and all performances will end with an explanation of the Gospel message and an invitation. (We recommend groups have counselors available to talk with those who are interested in finding out more about Jesus Christ.)
Environmental EducationThis seminar discusses the need for experiential learning in schools, addresses current trends in Environmental Education programming and provides sample curriculum that can be easily adapted to almost any school. Schools that are interested in developing their own Environmental Station within a school forest can also contact Rabbit Hat Productions for funding sources, curriculum and more! Help your students learn through hands-on science! (Recommended for those who would be directly responsible for implementing such a program.)
Psychic Frauds Network New in 2010 is a trip through the realm of "psychics". See many examples of so-called "psychic phenomenon", including: astral travel, ESP, psychic surgery, telekinesis and more! While we do not teach the actual methods (we have the Magician's Code to abide by), we will demonstrate that paranormal powers are nothing more than simple tricks!
TeambuildingCome and learn about the benefits of Teambuilding in a fun, interactive format. Designed to meet the needs of administrators, educators and support staff, you will learn about different styles of programming, useful object lessons for both the classroom and the boardroom, and more! This program is specifically designed to be used as part of a half-day or full-day Teacher In-Service.
Teambuilding and the Christian FaithIs your church looking for a way to encourage members to get involved? Is your youth group trying to pull closer together? Then it's time to learn more about the "Body of Christ". From utilizing your gifts to new forms of outreach, we will cover the concept of Teambuilding and Faith from a Biblical perspective.
Teambuilding for the ClassroomThis program is available as either an eight-hour training seminar or as a half-day in-service program. Our trained Facilitators take educators through specific, hands-on activities, programming options, positive outcomes and teambuilding techniques for large groups with little props and limited space. Emphasis is placed on practical examples of both activities and processing techniques designed to enable teachers to utilize what they have learned. Class sizes are limited to 20 participants per Facilitator or less to provide a strong teamwork and learning environment. (Upcoming workshops are listed on the Northern Lakes Impact Center website.)
