Wow! It has been an exciting time
for us here at Rabbit Hat Productions!
For those of you who don't know, in
2009 we were acquired by the Northern Lakes Ministries as a new outreach
program! Northern Lakes Ministries searches the country for programs that
are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of youth, adults,
families, communities, non-profits, businesses and more. They partner with
that organization and provide them with office space, insurance, supplies
and much more! We are honored to be a new project of the Northern Lakes
Ministries.
That being said, what does that
mean for the programs at Rabbit Hat Productions? It means that we are in for
some incredible things! Some of the other projects we are now working with
have brought a tremendous amount of talented staff together with some
fantastic resources! I would like to encourage you to check out our new
partners:
Crescent Lake Bible Camp
Crescent Lake Bible Camp is a traditional Summer Camp program. In 2009, they
celebrated their 75th Anniversary - 75 years of sharing the Gospel and
helping people grow in their faith! They offer Day Camps, Residential Youth
and Family Camps, Wilderness Trips and Mission Trips. They have graciously
given up some of their office space to Northern Lakes Ministries to house
all of the new projects. (If you are ever in the Rhinelander, Wisconsin
area, come and check out this beautiful place!)
Crossroads Medical Outreach
Across the street or around the world, Crossroad Medical Outreach will be
there. From Day Camps for youth with severe medical conditions to
residential camping and counseling, we offer an outreach to those who are
not able to attend a traditional camping program. With an emphasis on
recreation, education and counseling, we work to change lives everywhere
there is a need.
Eagle Cove Camp and Conference Center
Imagine a camp that is fully climate-controlled, one that features an indoor
archery range, an indoor climbing wall, an indoor environmental center and
much more! Imagine being able to work with campers of all backgrounds, ages
and abilities - especially those with life-threatening medical conditions.
Now you will have a small idea of what this project is and what it will mean
to thousands of youth who were never able to go to camp. Now they can!
Freedom Life Skills (No website available yet.)
According to the Department of Justice, approximately 70% of those in
America's prison systems will end up reoffending within one year of their
release. Life Skills is a counseling program that has been successfully used
in multiple states and for those who complete the program, the recidivism
rate is less than 3%! This program has also been used to repair marriages,
end drug and alcohol addiction and much more! This is the newest project for
Northern Lakes Ministries and will soon be deployed across the Midwest!
Impact Center for Charitable
Investments
Through carefully managed investment strategies, we encourage non-profits to
leverage the financial potential of volunteers, including those within the
organization and those who support its mission.
Northern Lakes Impact Center
The Northern Lakes Impact Center is where much of our service as Rabbit Hat
Productions has gone. Our Environmental Education and Teambuilding programs
have merged with those of the Northern Lakes Impact Center to create a new
program that has expanded to multiple camp facilities throughout the
Midwest! In addition to our standard programs, the Northern Lakes Impact
Center also includes Leadership Institute, Vision-Casting and is a partner
program with Freedom Life Skills!
